Université de Montréal (Trois-Rivières Campus)

Presentation

Since 2004, the Université de Montréal campus in Trois-Rivières has offered the full curriculum for medical studies to growing cohorts of around forty students. The course lasts four or five years depending on the nature of previous studies. The preparatory year is done at the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivières. Then, the doctoral training, identical to that of the main Montreal campus, includes two pre-clinical years at the teaching pavilion of the Trois-Rivières regional hospital (CHRTR), as well as two years of clerkship in hospitals and affiliated centers in the region. IFMSA-Quebec is present on the campus, in particular through the activities of student members of Sexperts, Healthy and Proud and OSMOSIS. In addition, several of the standing committees are active in Mauricie, including the public health, reproductive health, and human rights committees, without forgetting the exchanges committees that allow students to participate in international research or clinical exchanges.
