Social Program

This section is intended for incoming students (foreign students coming to do an internship in Quebec).

Every summer, in July and August, IFMSA-Quebec welcomes several foreign students who come to do research or clinical internships. National activities bringing together students from the cities of Montreal, Quebec City and Sherbrooke are organized, including sightseeing tours of Montreal and Quebec City, appreciation of urban nightlife, music shows, festivals, hiking, visiting another province of Canada, and more. A traditional National Food and Drinking Party, where all exchange students are invited to proudly share the traditional food and drink of their country is also organized.

As soon as you are accepted into the exchange program with IFMSA-Quebec, you will be added to the Facebook group of incoming students (incomings) and additional information will be sent to you.

For the other months of the year, when the small number of exchange students limits the possibilities of national activities, a contact person living in your host city is responsible for offering you a more personalized social program.

Please don’t hesitate to write to [email protected] (SCOPE) or [email protected] (SCORE) for any questions or suggestions! Please also take a look at the welcome guides we have prepared for you by clicking on the links below. We hope that we will convince you that Quebec is a province of great cultural and tourist value!
