The final day

Tic..toc…tic..toc…The time has come to leave.

On the last day of the RM, we had a blast! It was a bittersweet moment; we were sad that we would no longer see each other but happy that we were going back to our normal lives.

I would like to bring forth two highlights of my last day.

1) Quebec’s delegation won a great deal of prizes

IFMSA of the Americas Region recognized the implication of
– Philippe, as best SCORPian
– Xiya, as best SCOREian
– Camille D., as best SCORAian
– Camille P. V., as a great President

IFMSA of the Americas Region awarded
– Camille D., for her project fair on the Colloque de santé mondiale
– Xiya and Philippe, for their project presentation on Ma planète, Ma santé

IFMSA also brought forth the greatness of
– Quebec’s delegation, as the second best delegation of the 2015 RM of the Americas

2) The N.F.D.P.

The National Food and Drink Party was such an unforgettable experience! Getting to know the countries of Central America and South America through their national foods and beverages allowed me to feel like a world traveller. In fact, in reality, most of my days in Cali were spent in the Dann Cartlon Hotel. However, having had the chance to meet people from all over the Americas, especially at the N.F.D.P., allowed me to imaging that I had travelled all of the Americas in one single night. Each country that participated in the RM immersed me in their culture and invited me to eat and drink like a local.

Finally, I would like to thank my awesome delegation, and bring forth the amazing leadership of my president, Camille P. V., for making this an unforgettable learning experience.
