RM Day1

RM Day1

I think this is going to be a short one.

After tumbling for 8 hours in the night bus from Trujillo to Lima, there really’t that much thoughs left in my skull. I really don’t understand the concept of night buses, it must be an ancient Inca torture method.

Luckily for me, the first session of RM only starts in the afternoon, after a lovely little lunch with NMO in an unnamed restaurant in nowhere Lima. It was an open-mic session, my very first one too. I didn’t speak at all, just sat quietly and listened. In my opinion, it was certainly interesting. A few got up and said a few encouraging words, mentioned PAMSA family a few times, and always ended in a declaration of saving the world. It was certainly nice to see how enthusiastic everyone was, but in the same time, I wonder, does everyone mean everything they say? I thought it was all a bit too melodramatic, and a bit naïve. But hey, we are in South-America, where hot blood runs in the vein of anyone and everyone.
