Hello readers, my name is Arielle and this is my first post as delegate for the 2013 March Meeting. Apparently a few words of introduction are in order. I am a second year student at the University of Sherbrooke, at the Saguenay campus, where I also have the pleasure of being campus coordinator for IFMSA-Québec. I love everything to do with health, photography, and travelling.

I attended last year’s March Meeting (MM) in Ghana, and on the night before my departure, I glanced at the agenda, wide-eyed with wonder and apprehension. The same excitement is upon me tonight, and I just can’t wait to experience the same inspirational learning experience yet again. I can’t wait to meet old friends, make new ones, learn lessons, and of course, to share my experience with all of you.

One would think that after the first MM, the second would be a breeze… alas, the nerves are still there. But, as my all time favourite, Gandalf the Gray would say, ‘It’s a dangerous business, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there’s no knowing where you might be swept off to.’

So in that case, despite all the pre-departure jitters, I better keep my feet firmly on the ground, open my mind, grab my camera and my notebook, and get ready for what is sure to be the most memorable MM yet.

With best wishes,

Hello all! My name is Christine Osborne, I am a third year medical student from the University of Ottawa. I am the National Officer of Reproductive Health outgoing. (Hi to Josh Dias who is the incoming National Officer of Reproductive and Sexual Health). I am very excited to get to share my thoughts throughout this incredible journey. I had the great privilege to attend the SCORA sessions at the GA in Denmark. That experience was one I will never forget. I am currently writing this message from the airport in Frankfurt, Germany. Got delayed for 24 hours due to high winds. So I hope I make it to Ghana soon! See you all tonight!!!
