A little bit about me

A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Elyse, and I just finished my second year of medical school at the University of Sherbrooke. I am attending the general assembly as the national officer for research exchanges (NORE). I started getting implicated in IFMSA at the very beginning of my medical studies, first as local officer for research exchanges, and last year, as national officer. And, since I liked being on the national team so much, I’ve decided to stay another year! As a local officer, I got the chance to attend the general assembly that took place in Ghana, in March 2012. I had such a wonderful experience that I knew it was one I needed to repeat! Although I have an idea of what to expect, I believe I will have a very different experience this time around. I now know more about IFMSA; its policies, its structure, its many intricacies. I therefore hope to contribute some of my expertise and to gain some ideas on how to improve my second mandate in the research exchange committee. So keep reading, and I’ll keep you updated!
