Groupe d’intérêt pour la santé des Autochtones (GISA)

The GISA aims to raise awareness on health problems specific to aboriginal populations of Quebec, and acts to enhance Aboriginal health by preventive measures. Cultural activities, mini-schools of medicine in Aboriginal communities, as well as movie nights are a few examples of GISA’s activities.

Universities Allied for Essential Medicines (UAEM)

UAEM is an international group of people working for a better access to essential medication, and to promote medical research on Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). One of the short-term goals of UAEM in University of Montreal, the second University in Research in Canada, is to implement a chart to proote ethical principles in pharmaceutical research.

Conferences and Campaigns

Campaigns on malnutrition, reproductive health, child soldiers, homophobia and discrimination, as well as conferences with inspiring personalities in the field of humanitarian work and social justice, are organized by the SCORP committee.
