IFMSA-Quebec is the International Affairs Division of the Quebec Federation of Medical Students (FMEQ). As such, it covers all medical students in Quebec and its mission to raise awareness and mobilize around social, cultural and global health issues. Through its outreach projects, its international exchange programs and its pronouncements, IFMSA-Québec is dedicated to improving local health and abroad.

To accomplish its goal, the organization is actively involved on the local and national scenes in the four medical schools in Quebec, as well as within the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA) internationally. Its business activities are divided into seven standing committees, each headed by a national coordinator. Three offer exchange programs are offered: clinical exchanges, research exchanges and international internships. The other four committees are active and intend to raise the population’s awareness: sexual health, public health, global health and that of human rights and peace. More specifically on the campus of Laval University, exchanges are always popular, as well as Osmose, Sexperts and CRIAC.
